Thorfine is a street photographer from the suburbs of Paris, France. Through his camera lens he holds up a mirror to the choices that we make and asks us to take proud responsibility for our actions. Thorfine conveys to the viewer his personal visions of graffiti and all that comes with it, capturing the intrepid lifestyle of actors involved with the movement. His work is centered on the documentation of the immediate and fleeting, of the marginalised in society and the concepts of community. For Thorfine, these various aspects of his work are summarised by the duality of the human condition; how one can appear as a vandal to some and as a free spirit to others. Thorfine uses his work to highlight the simple fact that regardless the choice of words, it would be a mistake to underestimate either of them.
